After much deliberation and evaluation of the IT Project , ISAA in agreement with ISA (U) CARE4Kids management, and on advice from other local expertise in IT projects in Uganda, had to regrettably close down the Internet café in Bugemebe.
This has been a result to a number of different factors, namely lack of reliability in local accountability regarding management and finances as well as issues relating to inconsistent power and overall sustainability of the project.
ISAA is currently in communication with other local ministries in Uganda that are involved in IT projects and will continue to correspond and look at other possible options that may be more viable in reconsidering the possibility of re-establishing the IT Project.
ISAA will keep you informed on the progress and possible project opportunities once further assessment is completed.
