Animal Husbandry Projects 2012 - 2015

In 2012 donations towards specific projects have enabled us to establish some of our garden projects at the Children's Home, build a new kitchen facility, and further complete the poultry structure and other requirements needed to launch the poultry project by the end of 2012.

In 2013 we are hoping to undertake a number of new agricultural projects, re-establish the piggery project and further develop the goat project, to help raise income for greater self-sustainability as we run our children's sponsorship program and involve community participation. These projects are steps towards helping people to help themselves and to work towards eradicating poverty. If you would like to partner with us and donate towards any of these projects, we would love to hear from you.

Agricultural Projects

March 2010 produced a great harvest of corn mazie which was enough to cover 3 months supply for both the childrens homes. We are thankful to God and to all who supported this agriculrtural initiative as it has now paved the way for many more such community participatory agri projects.

Entrust Foundation has support this and other agricultural projects and as a result the second season of maize is already underway and this time we are hopful for an even larger harvest that we can then use as an income generating opportunity within the local community. In addition to this a Pinapple Project has also been undertaken and we look forward to keeping you informed on its progress. Thank you to all how have contriubted to make this possible and give rise to hope, food security and self-sustainability.
